where have you been woman? that song has been around forever. and even though it's weird, it's a super catchy song. how can you not like it? :)
Totally not related to this post, but faster to reach this way rather than emailing. So how much applesauce do you substitute per eggs? I've made cakes with applesauce in the recipe. But never directly substituted. We like our cookies kind of chewy, so I'm worried that the substitution will make it more cakey/moist/soft. But I'm up for trying anything, obviously! If you get back to me today, maybe I can try it after church.
1/2 cup applesauce for 2 eggs. Let them sit in the pan for about 5 minutes after coming out of the oven, then move to a wire rack (for the right consistency).
That songs been out forever, but it sounds like it came out in the 70s. I don't change the channel when it comes on...
